No, but the way he framed it as murder was enough. He's supposed to be dead, but because he was the chosen one, he got to live. But since he and his dragon aren't the sacred beast anymore, it's only right to hand over that right. It's not like the rights exist for nothing. The sacred beast has a heavy responsibility and without the chosen one, they'll revert back.
So if that guy claimed it's murder, then I would say what he's doing is the destruction of the world which will disrupt nature. That means he's killing millions of people.
Like someone said in one of the replies, if it was kotone and Nagi in the same situation, you people probably won’t have the same reaction as this since u can see their side of the story and sympathize with them. It’s easy to say “let them die” but the actual deed is difficult. Same as seeing an easy dance, but doing it is a task in any case i understand this is fiction and no actual person is going to die so it’s easier to say let them die lol
But what about them breaking the rule and might cause a thousand of deaths later? So it's ok to let the current chosen one die and have the current sacred beast lose its ability to become a sacred beast once they return to being a snake? I don't think that's a good idea..
?? The current chosen one is not going to die at the moment. All the “putting the chosen one soul in the scale” does is just to give him imortality, so he’s really not urgently going to die. Am pretty sure 2 years can be spared to look for another solution if not then they could then say “there’s no solution, we have no choice but to remove ur soul” am pretty sure that little boy isn’t that bad of a person, the only reason he’s being manipulative towards kotone is because he’s death would be tormenting on that black dragon, and no one wants that on someone they love. But if he’s just being plain selfish, then that’s another case
