It really does i stopped reading though it was pissing me off the autur built up elijah got us all attached to him then just took him away
I read the novel only until Arthur finally showed Sylvia's true form and I thought that was hype but then read some spoilers a while back that Arthur prioritizes Tessa over his family and ticked me the fuck off and now you're telling me MY MAN ELIJAH is gonna ba taken away too like FUCK
If you had read just a couple chapters more you would have gotten to that part, its like the whole story
