I understand that this is a work of fiction and I shouldn’t be putting in “real world” logic,
But there was no reason for the dude to be a high schooler?? He could have been in college and the story would still have worked. The age gap is very off-putting, especially when you factor in that the kid is AT MOST 18 years old, and the chef is AT LEAST late 20s. Remember that the best case scenario is that the kid is 18, for all we know he could be a 15 year-old.

So yeah this turned into a rant. Still a good story, but would definitely warn against people who are sensitive to this kinda stuff (๑ ᄇ`๑)
