I so agree with you. In all my bl reading years, and I mean years, I have never read a manwha with this calibre of tension. It's a beautiful thing to witness. People are understandably comparing it to UTGL whose author I LOVE but Jaxx doesn't quite hit the same levels as this one for me at least.
It's the writing man, the dialogues are unparalleled, feels like two actual people talking instead of bl NPCs.
Completely agree with you. Both the MCs feel like actual people with a depth and life which is extremely rare to find.

Sigh i really love the sexual tension between them (imo this is the highest/best sexual tension ive ever read in a manhwa/manga) even more so that TLTWW // UTGL ლ(´ڡ`ლ) tho ofc if going by visuals id say i love matthew/jin more but damn shin and jake is pretty close
