I totally agree with you I went back and reskimmed all the chapters and she's doing just fine. Honestly if people want to criticize something it should be the pacing not the character. If you go back and re-read she has actually been pretty good at standing up for herself when possible and swift in making changes. The problem is that the pacing is slow. the author will spend 2-3 chapters on one issue at a time. like 3 chapters just to get her out of the palace and in narrative its been half a day. or 4 chapters getting to the battlefield when again in narrative its been like a day. Its been about a week total since she was nearly murdered, beat half dead by her father, given an all powerful god to control and sent to a demon infested battle field. She also hasn't cried once since then and she has resolutely resisted her father and other politicians who tried to manipulate her. The pacing is the issue not Ludis.
Ya'll in the comments need to back up off my girl Ludis. I'd be far more terrified in her place. She's doing amazing and I love her character.
