Semin (seriously, autocorrect? THAT'S what you chose? Demon? Really) is a sweet baby. I get that people don't like that he plagiarizes but in his case it's not really something he can help. But as he develops and gets the love he deserves (as you said) I'm sure he will discover more and more about his own unique to him tastes.
exactly! and it feels like him plagiarizing is more of an unconscious thing at this point; plus he didn’t have as much time as his peers to develop a style because of his crappy upbringing. he’s a complex character and i’m happily he’s being more understood now
binged this entire thing last night and i’m dying for more! i was reluctant to start this because the low ratings and top comments put me off, but i think people judged this way too early! sure semin is flawed, but he’s complex and layered and it’s such a joy seeing him slowly develop as the story progresses (and he receives the love he deserves :’( ). plus if he was a perfect well-adjusted mc right out the gate, there’d be no plot!
semin is one of my fave bl mc’s now; he’s so well written and realistic especially with how he overthinks and reacts. his actions felt so real, sometimes it felt like i was looking at a friend or even myself! this author nailed what it’s like to grow up with that kind of trauma constantly weighing you down, ugh. but he’s still so sweet and tries his best ugh he’s just so perfect my little cinnamon roll
