But on their second day of high school, Jian Yi disappeared without a trace, only to come back to Zheng Xi's apartment three years later. That is where the story begins.

And I was 15 in high school too.

But what they are showing now is the past before Jian Yi disappeared before they entered high school right? So aren't they in middle school. Are 15 year-olds in high school in China? Coz where I'm from I only enter high school when I'm 16

But didn't they already show us when he came back tho? Cuz, I remember reading it at the beginning and now is high school when they met little Mo and other dudes. I don't want to argue tho. In China there is senior middle school which is also called high school and you go there from 15-18. In my country even 13 yo kids will go to high school this year which is bad in my opinion.

Oh no, yess it did show that Jian yi came back, but it's when zhanxi is already in college. It was also mentioned that Jian yi was kidnapped at the first day of his high school. So zhangxi and Jian yi never went high school together. This time period which we are currently in is them when are still in middle school. The disappearance is still to take place. And after that Jian yi won't be the same, he will be more thuggish lol.

It's almost like a flashback we are seeing.
