Not really half-assed. She just opted to make herself stronger than following around the dude she's interested with. Knowing she can't be any help if she's not strong enough. The world is full monster and she almost died during the ant arc. She wanted to focus on getting stronger but she was there when Jinwoo needed them. Remember, the dungeon arc. When Jinwoo got called by the shadow monarch dungeon. The "smell" was just something that caught her attention. It's not like you had a crush on someone without them getting your attention first. Like with looks, courage, whatever. She just had it in a unique way. But it's not the reason she fell for Jinwoo. But if you don't like the romance part it's fine too. As for me, the romance here is better written than most series because it doesn't add unnecessary drama. The fl is not dead weight who needs to be saved or someone who annoyingly follows ml even when she's no help at all. The fl here is more independent and strive to get stronger.

But really, I recommend reading the novel. As I said, the webtoon focused on action scenes. Like they mostly just jumped to the fight scenes. I mean, I love it too. The art is amazing. It's hits different seeing them fighting than just imagining. It adds more to the fighting scenes. But the japan speech was really fantastic. The novel have more details. Like moooore.

strength wise she cant even beat his strongest soldier and her attraction comes from her not being bothered by his scent thats so... weird to me to have a pair like that. he doesnt seem that interested in romance either. Just unfazed by her and these sudden scenes with them going out just hella random

Yep, and I don't know you too. That's why I'm not supposed to call you names. And you can't call other shippers names because that's the point, we don't know each other. You don't know the people you're calling fake. It's fine being unbothered to some extent. But don't call names even when it's just online and you're anonymous. It can never hurt to be respectful to a stranger. You can't call anyone names just because you're a stranger to each other. Calling names shouldn't be natural. I know "fake" is a lil harmless word. But I replied because little things can add up until you don't know you hurting someone by your comment (I wasn't hurt by the op but. For me, it's just disrespect when other shippers call other team names like it's natural). I've been encountering comments with insults while looking for raws these days. Maybe that got me more sensitive.

I honestly commented off of a meme saying all the best girls that never got mentioned again once the hero leveled up and it had a bunch of side characters and I never really shipped him with anyone in the manhwa but since the latest chpts with alot of scenes with him and cha there were alot of ship comments I just thought it funny to mention it that there was a girl in the past..ya knur

Oh shiet this I forgot about all this. Maybe I really was just focused on the action (⊙…⊙ ) Somehow I just remember the first female interest tho cause she was there when Jinwoo had barely anything to offer.

I think she saw Jinwoo more as a brother tho. As she always heals him cause Jinwoo almost died many times. He saw him as a guy friend after Jinwoo got taller. She's a good friend. And a strong healer too. I think she could have been as strong as the guy healer in the ant arc if she continued being a hunter. But what she experienced was terrifying. Honestly, there were all too brave.

Riiight. Maybe that's why I feel like she was done wrong. She might not have looked at Jinwoo as something more than a brother but at least we know she's someone with pure intentions. She was disposed from the story in such a sad manner I feel like she's so wronged. Man. She's literally one the reasons why Jinwoo survived to get as powerful as he is but they did her wrong. Poor bb could've at least be given a good happy life and I'd be peaceful.
