I agree with both saids, mc has no right to be mad that his partner is a pornstar bc he knew from the start and they just went over this whole feelings and work thing. No one should expect him to quit his job just because he's dating, and if mc really can't take it they should breakup. But I also think that particular line isn't the right wording as tho no one should change , everyone does whether you're dating or not so if mc or his partner have bad personality traits it should be nit-picked
