Did you not see how he also snickered at Tia in the earlier chapters? He’s not any better even if he’s a “follower”.
He’s a kid, kids snicker but all the times his brother do something out of pocket etc he always try to stop him.
Barely, but I get your point. I don't think he's timidly trying to stop him because he's worried about her though, seems like he's just scared that he'll get in trouble.
