Hey, I know it's sad but you did the best you could, don't blame yourself for the wrongdoings of others.
(⊙…⊙ ) omg I hope you can think that his/her suffering is no more, did you bury him/her? Coz if not yet there are some animal rights group that sometimes help you, or an animal shelter by volunteers...we have one in my area...they cremate the cats/dogs we had our dog who died of complications due to old age cremated ╥﹏╥
it's truly sad how people just step on other living beings without feeling anything...It's not your fault you did your best...
Yeah i asked someone to burry it for me and he did..
In my country we don't really have much help and care for animals
There is so much people who are cruel to animals
The only way to help animals is doing it individually

The cat that i tried to rescue died...
I was keeping her next to my place cause my parent doesn't want cats and i have been feeding her cause she was abandoned by her mother "less than 1 month old"
Yesterday i gone to feed her and she was almost dead people said that children step on her while they playing.. I put her in my arm and she cried ... Not long she died on my arm..
I kept her in a corner where no body walk put food and water how did they step on her
I feel so bad and sad...
I cried so much and still crying i was trying to make her better and searching for home for her
I feel so guilty
