he was a prison ward, it was happened when he was being kicked out from orphanage and became homeless for the first time. but he didn't remember a thing about that
It was shown before this flashback, he was searching for a job and happened to come on a flyer about prison looking for prison guards.
I don't really remember but did Shavonne say at the start of the story if he worked as a prison guard?
