this is just what i think so im not gonna put a spoiler warning. i think he didn't actually care for her. its been shown in the previous chapters that he was actually just using her in order to gain a powerful heir (white hair has powers + fl has powers = child has powers too). since he still needed her, ofc he didnt want her to die. thats probably why he seemed "concerned" when she died.

acutally......no. he didn't. he just wanted to use her bc she had inherited the power of spring. so if he made her have his child, then their child will have both powers, spring and winter. and thats what he wants. he was sad/ concerned when she died maybe it was bc he can no longer under go his "experiment" or wtvr. idk why he was so sad/concerned when she died.....but in summary, i think he didnt care for her, he just used her. im not sure tho (￣∇￣")
