I think it's because once they reach a certain age. They age normally. If not slowly.
My understanding of the matter, is that the offspring is either this or that, but not a mixture of the parents races.
So the difference in the characters aging rate is 'cause Shinichi and Yujiro were born humans, while Miya was born a cat god thus aging like one.

after reading I dont understand birth logic>? so even though he's a God's offspring and still in HS growing up, he can have offspring with God and have it grow up in a month? I guess because he part God? but his fathers were a God and half?God... is very confusing but only reason i can think of for their kid to grow soooo much faster????
