I was confused too, but I think he could only see that before. Physical with his eyes. Now he can kind of feel them from a distance. That's way Ashiya was complaining about having trouble sensing Fuzzy right next to him.

Yahiko shouldn't have done that, but he really didn't know just how deep Ashiya's trauma is!
By the way, I'm confused. So throughout the manga, didn't Ashiya have the ability to sense demon? Did he lose some after the encounter with the executive? Or he never really had much of an ability? So confused
