Don't worry. In some cases it's the language barrier. After translation it becomes kid.. but in the original it might not be meant as for a kid u know.
I think it's just a language difference lmao. It doesn't mean or sound that creepy in Korean buy it sounds off in English
I know. In the other languages I speak there is also stuff that you cannot 1 on 1 translate as it will loose the meaning. But I just generally experience it in many stories with a bit of an age gap or even real life. Where a grown ass man calls an adult women he is flirting with or courting "girl". Like it seems harmless, but only if you are someone that has no idea about the impact and importance of wording and language in general...or people who call adult men they lust after "boy"....like bruh wtf...or "such a cute kid" ....i know usually people don't always read into it much, if the atmosphere while saying it was harmless...but if you take out all the details and just take the word as is, it is just creepy to me....why people would subconsciously choose to label a person they are sexually attracted to with words meant for minors...
i get the creeps when guys who just had sex with someone or are sexually attracted to someone think to themselves of tham as "this kid"....like dude...that´s a really nasty way to think of someone you want to fuck/just fucked.....
