in terms of mha I think their version of vigilante is j a wandering hero who hides their identity but performs hero duties nonetheless

vigilante means doing law enforcements without legal authority. like when people take matters into their own hands and disregards the law because they deemed it lacking .... did i get it right?
deku can be seen as vigilante here because even though he has a license, he is acting without a pro hero supervisor. especially since the pros are repeatedly asking him to back out and he is clearly refusing to follow orders.
You got it right. Deku is working with pro hero’s but not with his classmates. He’s not doing anything illegal…..yet

idk if its already illegal or just bordering the line.. coz him acting despite endeavor telling him to back down and wait is the same as the hosu incident when gran torino telling him to stay put and he went anyways. they clearly got the red card back then and only escaped since there was few witnesses. he could get his license revoked for this for all we know. (idk how their law works lol)
he is definitely getting the pass here though because
1. the society is currently fkkked
2. theres too little heroes available
but under normal circumstances, this is hosu incident all over again but with different motivations

Yea it’s called vigilantes. It’s a cannon side story about the vigilantes in the MHA world and it also gives background on some MHA characters in their early life like Aizawa and present mic.
