I’m honestly way too much into studying and dealing with my own sht to be with someone. So I get how Tommy couldn’t know. Also, who’s going to pay for their later bills? Not the career-less guy that I’m sure.
Of course I’d never have the heart to do what Tommy did cuz I’d just explode and cry my heart out but I’d be pissed af. I’d want retribution for sure. But the ex would totally guilt trip me back, even if unconsciously, bc I just can’t bear somebody hurting themselves.
