i agree in the fact that ian is mentally like 40, but nonetheless, he's in the body of a child which people shouldn't ship him with a grown man. because that would imply that the grown man is attracted to a 12 yr looking boy. personally, my stance is that ian shouldn't be shipped with others regardless of their age. once ians body matures to an adult i think its be more reasonable for him to have a partner. but in honesty, i would prefer him to be romanceless.
also even if it is fiction, fiction does affect reality, and IF BY CHANCE, the author DID make the knight and him end up together. i would definalty, reevaluate my thoughts of the author and their morals.
