Honestly, I felt a bit unsatisfied when the author left out the spicy scenes when they were younger, if Kang didn't mention the condoms, I wouldn't have realized that they were doing the deed. However, in hindsight, I think that's a great decision by the author and I like it. After seeing how they drew some spicy scenes now that the leads are adults, I realized that the author just didn't want to draw underage boys doing the deed. And that just sits right with me. It's not that often that we see it in yaoi webtoons.
Probably the artist didn't want to draw underage kids having sex... but the author (who wrote the novel) added the spicy scenes. In the manhwa it was pretty subjective. (=・ω・=)
