like yea, he was kind of a dick at first but thats what you call character development. he needs his own agency and being with Patricia will make him realize that hes worthy of being truly loved by someone.
people need to try seeing this in his pov more. imagine you were abused as a child and then u see ur own mom die in front of u (i think he unknowingly killed his own mom right? im not sure but if it is, thats even more traumatic). then you feel like you dont deserve any love. then come a girl that said she'll love you forever, of course youre gonna trust that person your whole life.

i don’t understand why people would hate on lucio so much when he was used and manipulated by rose when he was most vulnerable!! he is not evil because he chose rose instead of nilla in his past life. people really need to understand his character more because he was a victim and thank god he now has someone to accept him when he doesn’t even love himself
