Why wasn't the guy looking at her again i don't remember what happened between them?

i think he tried to kill her or something like that

he tried to kill her but she ended up kicking him in the crouch

He was the roof assassin during one of the first attempts after she transmigrated. He's part of the noble faction that's trying to kill the empress and it seems like he's a capable assassin since he was the lead for some of the missions
