Do you understand why Aria needs an alibi? Do you understand how Asher created one for her? Did you know Aria and Asher had decided to become a couple? I can't help if I don't know where you lost track of the story.

Mielle hasn't. Nor have any of her fake "witnesses". So far as everyone else is concerned, except for the Count from the borderlands and his son, she is a fugitive who fled the scene of the crime. It hasn't gotten to the point where the holes in Mielle's accusation have been noticed yet, except by that Count and his son who just learned the news that Aria is wanted for murder. Right now, they are baffled as to why she was accused of a murder that took place just as she was arriving on their estate, leagues and leagues away.
