i totally agree, irl and fiction are COMPLETELY different. so it’s totally fine speaking on this, i think ur completely right. Taeyoung wasn’t even getting held captive, everytime after practice and stuff they’d be doing the deed at daewoo’s house. And the fact the didn’t say anything for 6 months then decided to speak up on it on his award ceremony on tv. Oh heun had no idea that this had happened because tae didn’t speak on it, COMMUNICATION IS KEY PPL. Dae was sending text messages bc eventually he got videos of them, but if he decided to just leave the first time, he could’ve reported and that’s it. before the massive time skip, he got enough proof but let the issue drag on, that’s why i don’t like tae at all and oh heun deserves better. like the blackmail was so weak bc ppl ended up figuring out that tae and oh heun were dating at the END of the story so there black mail meant nothing. He basically cheated in my eyes and i don’t accept that. No one was endanger even if ppl found out that they were together it wouldn’t mean anything but tae still decided to have intercourse with him and much more for 6 months. At first i was horrified but he had so many chances so why would he wait and basically have regular relations with him. Honestly the worst bl i’ve ever read, bc rape is gross and the uke was completely ridiculous throughout the whole story, i seriously do not condone cheating whatsoever and in this case the black mail was pretty weak. i've read several webtoons by other authors with blackmail in them, but they ACTUALLY make the blackmail inescapable—you can sense the hopelessness of the situation. this one was very weak like you said, and poorly written
i’m so glad h agree. Like the author basically made this to trigger people and i wish i knew that before reading it. I was really invested and then became furious because they added rape and weak blackmail and tae basically cheated which is another no no ughh i just wish i never stumbled upon this
