i think the one who died is jk's older brother's twin who is somewhat having a psycho personality who emotionally tortured jk and was the one who bring the child jk into the forest when she was a kid, i think he was blaming haijin sensei for his death since he cannot anymore tortured his sister becoz of haijin protecting jk since the day teen haijin and child jk met in the forest.

She had two older twin brothers. One(that's aliv loved both Miko and his brother but younger twin wanted all his brother's attention so he sort of ignored Miko. He was also the one who left Little Miko is forest where she first met sensei while he had gone there to die. The twin had done it on impulse mostly because after Miko was found he never bothered her and even took care of her (at beach where she had drifted apart too far) but his guilt ate him from inside too much so he committed sui*ide later on. That's also the reason Miko's other brother who is still alive doesn't show his face to Miko, because she might get reminded of the late brother and feel guilty. It's all very sad.
