Hmm maybe its because i just binged this comic, but it felt pretty natural to me. Especially since the prince has been making him jealous and Calcion has already had a crush on her for a while. I think he just stopped holding back.

I don't know if it's just me but I think the last 2 chapters (ch58-59) were a bit strange. I think the romance might have happened a bit too fast, for a slow burn. Especially with someone like the Duke that isn't used to it at all, it's even his first real experience. But maybe it's because we don't see his POV
