I heard that the manhwa is a little bit different from the novel... Is that true? If it's true, please explain why, I want to read it but I love the manhwa's format so much that I don't want to ruin the story for myself. :>

no its actually pretty much the same as the og novel just everythings crammed to make it shorter since the novel is over 800 chaps-

Some dungeon breaks never happened in the original novel if I remember correctly (it’s been a long time). Like with yerim and myeongwoo.

Also sometimes the characters do stuff for comedic effect which didn’t happen in the novel.

But it’s never like out of character it’s very tasteful and translates really well into the manwha format. But I’m only at chapter ~250?? something so there may be some further alterations but I think that’s perfectly normal.

the pacing is different, some dialogues and scenes are removed (especially those who are quite ambiguous– between shj/hyj), some of the timeline is changed, the manhwa follows some of the additional changes in the revised ebook version as well. overall, i recommend reading both the novel and manhwa, because both are good in their own way. a lot of people admitted that the novel is not quite as lighthearted, though for me it's mostly just because there are a lot of added comedic scenes in the manhwa.
