Honestly I feel bad for the emperor. He has spent his whole life being emotionally blackmailed by his unstable mom which has completely wrecked his psyche. And now another cuckoo is doing the same. He has never really known or felt what unconditional and true love should feel like. He’s a jerk to the FL but his actions can be justified because theirs was just a political marriage and to him it appeared like she was harassing the blondie (who by the way is the first wife so he isn’t exactly a cheating scum)
I just feel he need someone on his side to make him see the light.
Now I would also like to say that I have read the spoilers and I am greatly disappointed. I feel bad for this character right now but it might change in the future. I wish he would have been given a chance at redemption too.
