When tf did I say there's a justifiable reason to rape??? Also many IRL rapists have reasons be it personal entertainment or whatever. I'm not defending rapists here. I'm just trying to say that since the author was planning a side story for the red haired character as it is, then why not plan his character properly because he was introduced as a villain and then was made a mc without any redemption whatsoever. That's what made the side story hard to read

Like the side story is definitely sexy asf and the sex scenes are totally my type, but the problem is that they didn't give the red haired uke a proper redemption.
Like believe me when I say I've seen worse characters turn into a fan favourite character just because of the brilliant character planning. Like just read Uriah in webtoon, the mc's brother first comes across as a piece of shit who forces him to kill someone close to him and mentally and physically hurt him, but when you deliver deeper you get to see the reason and it's actually justified.
But here the author simply didn't give him a proper character planning. Like there's no actual reason as to why he sexually assaulted mc? Like even IRL rapists have a reason, be it past trauma or simply entertainment??
