It is a pretty over dramatic and strung along story at times with some parts which I just skipped over because they didn't seem really important to the story over all. It's because he was trying to make him remember first and couldn't get over his love for the seme. Literally his, knowingly stupid, decision to try and salvage the relationship. Everyone was telling him to stop and move on but he couldn't until he could confirm that their bond would not be enough for them to reunite. once he thinks he's just a replacement for seme's forgotten mate that's when he bails. Now, still not over his love, wants to destroy him for all the hurt he's caused.
To answer your question.... insurance fraud. You remodel a house you're struggling to sell to increase value and then "accidentally" it catches on fire... boom then you're rich
What a useless story, Uke was all about protecting the Seme with his life, now he's all about destroying the seme? LOL, had the uke done nothing in the first half of the story, the seme would have been destroyed by his brother and the uke would have saved himself the time and trouble. What an idiot!
