You see him s2 ch 36. His ex was actually mentioned early in s1, actually. But you dont see him until later. His ex is basically just someone he grew up with. They broke up when the ex got a job opportunity in the capital. S2 ch 36 is when choa and mujin reaches the capital and meets the ex.

Lolol just caught up to recent chapters. And wow. Cho-ah sounds like he's trying so hard to brainwash himself into believing he loves Mujin. Every other thought dialogue is him gaslighting himself saying he loves Mujin all the while pushing away self doubt thoughts. He want his ex so bad he had to guilt trip himself. Sounds to me he pities and views Mujin as a vulnerable person, so as a physician whose job is to help those in need, his little heart just cant abandoned Mujin for his ex, whom he longs for. This is so sad.
i mean, he couldn't even get in the mood for sex and had to take a double dose of drug to help. AND even thought about the ex while getting pounded. y'all are just playing house at this point!

No but honestly my thoughts remain about Cho-ah ending up with the ex. He should've picked the ex. Y'all are literally perfect for each other. No point in Mujin being endgame if it's the result of gaslighting himself. Makes it to hard to witness him believe his love is genuine. Dude's delusional. And the saddest part, despite my sarcastic bouts earlier, is that the right choice is to pick the ex, and even if he did pick the ex, Mujin is the actual problem.
You know what. they're both just very problematic. In their own ways and they're worst for it together. They need to be separated like yesterday before I started reading this.
