Yea, If they delve into the cultural part and how he couples interact innit it would have been representation of both qaltaqa and ryouichirou's homes and cultures. Tribes don't just have silly rituals with no meaning or history behind it, ridiculous masks and names. There's more to it to be addressed. What does their belief say about same sex marriage? What do they believe in? Possibly a Yaoi God lol. How are they going to promote their culture? Are there other tribes around them? (Isolated doesn't mean only them in one area. Just that they don't talk to other tribes) what do they eat? What other meaningful ceremonies exist? Whats the status between men and women? Hopefully it's equal. Yea. So many things author could have used to get them tgt closer
Does anyone suspect Ryou was bi curious all along but tried to fight it. That's why he was so resistant to Qaltaga sneaking in his bed and kissing him. When he agreed to sleep with the exchange student, he probably expectant him to be a timid and gentle lover. But was shocked when Qaltaga humped him like a man possessed by hot passion! From his reaction, I think it was Ryou's first time with a man lover as well. I felt the wedding was rushed since they barely know each other. But it was an interesting and cute manga.
