The series itself isn't controversial it just the fandom heated wars. But you can say that it could be controversial because Jooin most likely will end up with the red flag seme who treated him wrong, hit him and r@ped him. The R happen in early chapters and is brought up alot because Jooin was indeed very drunk and believed it was a dream and there's a saying a drunk person cannot consent. So that could be why it's controversial.
