Can it really be considered grooming tho? Sure when I first saw that he knew him as a kid, i was also put off but when I read how they were in the past, it was the ML who had a romantic interest with the MC from the very first time they met. And MC clearly said he did not see ML as romantic interest until ML started making a move on him when he turned legal age. Mc did not purposely manipulate nor make any connection with ml that will make him love mc or make ml act in any way that is advantageous for mc. From what I've read, he grew up with ml, treated him like a neighborhood kid, realizing that he was not a kid anymore after ml aggressively showed him that he's in love with mc, fell in love with him, they became a couple, and got married. A normal love story that happened to have an age gap. Also if youre gonna say that mc must correct ml as a child when he proposed to him, didnt the mc ignore it? He wasnt even entertaining ml's love confession until he himself eventually realize that he has fallen in love with him, where in they are already both adults.
