It’s been almost two years since I read the novel, so I don’t remember some of the details. Anyway, more or less short*ish summary….
MC keeps driving ML insane and pushes him to the breaking point with his “I want to have sex, get me a woman” and then tries to force ML himself to have sex. ML keeps drinking and feeling that he’s too drunk and can’t control himself or the MC, he ties MC to the bed, confesses to him, and spill his soul:
The fact that when MC rejected him at the end of season 1 and slammed his door in his face, ML felt like he was going to die at that moment. All he wanted was to talk to MC and explain, but MC ignored him and then left the country altogether. So ML was looking for any possible way to get in touch with MC, which is how he ended up messing with his job interviews. And that he threatened him just to be able to see him again. He would never hurt MC or his family. He asked for those 10 times, hoping that while they spend that time together, MC would change his mind and will give him a chance. But MC keep hurting and humiliating him, so ML was so scared that he would never see MC again that he ended up kidnapping him. He didn’t want any sex, he only wanted MC to be there.
During that, MC starts crying. And [of course] that’s when MC’s brother shows up and sees that scene. He beats ML half to death, breaks his ribs, his arm, and destroys his face. Then the police shows up, takes brother to the station, ML to the hospital, and MC home.
Later MC goes to the hospital to ask ML not to charge his brother. There he meets ML’s cousin [sister]. She pressed charges against MC’s brother for assaulting ML and said that the brother will go to jail unless ML gives her all his shares in the company and she will become the main shareholder. ML does that and loses his money, power, and position in the family.
When he gets better, he goes to see MC at his home. As he promised, he brings him money and the documents for a shopping mall ownership and says that from that day, they will no longer see each other. Brother has also been released.
[OMFG, I wish it would end here.]
As ML is leaving, MC stops him and says that they have one more time left. He takes him to his apartment, jumps on him, and they have sex on the floor [while ML still has broken ribs and arm, and it hurts as shit]. And then MC basically asks to get back together. BUT the catch here is that MC does NOT love ML even one bit. ML keeps trying and is always sweet and affectionate and does nice things for him, but MC keeps cursing at him, keeps being rude, and hurts his feelings every chance he gets.
-The end
There are also 2 extras. 1 extra is some of the story from ML’s POV. It’s called “The open door.” as a reference to the S1 ending. The other one I don’t even remember much.
Extra 1 is THE BEST part of this novel. It was the only reason why I kept working on this story. It shows ML’s perspective, some of his backstory, and their life after the end of the main story. The main points are:
ML was madly in love with MC from the very beginning, which is why he was always so kind, accommodating, and gentle.
The reason why he didn’t want to date MC was that he wanted to protect MC from his family. ML had a lover in the past whom he loved very much, but his family found out, and his grandfather [who wanted ML to marry a woman] paid ML’s lover a bunch of money to disappear and leave the country. So that lover took the money and one day ghosted ML, and no matter how ML searched for him, he never came back. ML was going insane, and then his grandfather told him what happened, and ML promised himself never to go through the same thing again and to protect his love. So not dating MC was his way of making sure that his family would not get to MC and would not make him leave the country.
The above was also the reason why when Min Seowon [pink-haired guy] showed up at his apartment at the end of S1, ML said that there was nothing between him and MC. Min Seowon was sent there by ML’s sister as a spy, and ML didn’t want her to know anything.
[After the end of the main story] Every time ML says “I love you,” MC would answer, “I know,” or “Stop it.” He doesn’t love ML, and ML knows it. ML is sad and miserable because of that most of the time, but he doesn’t cause any scenes or say anything. Even when MC said that he will go to meet a friend and ML thought that MC would start dating that friend, ML didn’t say anything because he knew that MC hates that. That friend turned out to be Jae Oh, who was moving back to Busan. Jae Oh was really upset that MC ended up with ML, so when he was leaving, he said, "Don't let the person that likes you suffer in loneliness." So then MC thought about how he treated ML and how ML was getting sad, to the point that ML left in the morning without waiting for MC to wake up and was not meeting MC for 3 days [coz he was so sad about MC not loving him].
So ML went to MC, while at the same time, MC went to ML, and they called each other like, "Where are you?" - "I'm at your house". And ML went home and found MC there, and it made him very happy to see him. But he also saw a bag and thought that it was ML's stuff that MC had at his house and which he wanted to return, but it turned out that MC came to say "Let's live together" coz in that bag were MC's clothes. So that’s how they ended up living together.
Eventually, [somehow] ML goes back to work, and MC becomes his secretary again.

I wouldn’t say this story has a happy ending. Because no matter what, MC never loved ML again, and I can’t see how that kind of relationship can be happy. Even if it’s all fiction.
Also, for those who simp for the brother: he’s straight and married a girl. The girl was mentioned in one of the early chapters where the girl’s father wanted her to marry ML and invited ML to the dinner to introduce her. But she was already in love with the brother, so it was lucky that that matchmaking didn’t work out.
