The thing about this is that it's based off of a novel and this story is meant to show the horrible, disgusting, and disturbing sides of this world. Thats why it's not a bl or yaoi. It's a psychological horror and Thriller because of its horrid themes. I also hate them, so please don't think I condone this, it's just how the story is, sadly, meant to be :((
i'm back after reading to the most recent update! the plot is honestly much better than other rapefests. if i were to disregard that for a second though, there is something about the mc's living situation with the others that is boring. not that i would prefer it to be darker but i think it could be more complex. but obviously i find the whole situation absolutely vile. i have high hopes for the deputy commander, he's protective and has boundaries, he's much better than the other disgusting freaks even if he isn't perfect. i hope his character is developed well. i'm not sure if there is a planned "end game" couple but i really hope it's not the commander, i think he might the worst of them all with his savior complex. also i find the action kinda boring but it's not that important to me, i loved seeing heesu get injured tho. <3 i'll probably keep reading bc i need to know what happens.
i totally get that and i do willingly read my fair share of disturbing stories (i'll probably finish this one too), but i just think not every universe needs a disturbing side. they could have been a group of elite espers that just so happen to have an amazing sync rate with this unknown guide and decide to respectfully share him with his consent. that's closer to what i was expecting honestly, maybe more tension and angst than that but still.
Yeah!! That's what I wanted too T^T (I also feel that fair share of disturbing stories, I've caught up already) I just wish it wasn't as bad as it is so I understand that wholeheartedly
