Idk how many times I read this it’s really good… that chapter is actually the climax of the story I would say.
I think I liked it very much back in the day and I had high hopes for this couple, but the confession scene ruined it for me precisely bc of my expectations; I could not believe that the sweet ml was about to commit a crime? Over what he perceived as rejection?? And the mc brushes it off too easily imo. I couldn’t get over it so I dropped it but it varies from reader to reader
the brushing off is what gets me lol. especially when they end up together like nothing happened
im torn if i should read this or not because i saw some negative comments abt this that they didnt like chapter 30something, i wanna ask yall if is this rlly worth reading
