While the anime and LN switches perspectives between Kumoko and the Hero, the manga stays with Kumoko. I kinda like the manga better because the time difference has never been explicitly stated. Kumoko's perspective starts when everyone is reincarnated, while the Hero's is 15 years later. The manga is basically following the timeline.

I hated the hero’s perspective in the anime . Id literally skip their part each time they came on screen. It was boring and confusing plus the characters were like really horrible people for some reason they seemed a little psychotic.

Ikr....to be honest I hate the hero's team more than the elves because they always seem pathetic and insignificant compared to others

They was really just in the way. Plus they didn’t believe in the only person trying to help them. I haven’t read the novel but in the anime he really thought the power of friendship could save them.

If they were the main characters, the power of friendship would DEFINITELY work but unfortunately, the main character is on the demon king's side.

I think the Power of Friendship is working for both sides. The LN switches between Kumoko and the Hero after all. Plus the Hero's party only encounters serious threats when his opponents are related to Kumoko. The Nightmares, Wrath, and Sophia all have no problems against the HP. Yet Greed struggles against Sensei even after his powerup.
