I would love it if that was true. But seeing how none of the tags for the story mention romance or yaoi. I think it’s just a regular fantasy story. But I could be wrong.

That might be true. But the tag confirms if it’s a bl or not. And another user already explained in the novel there was no love between any of the characters. But sometimes webtoon versions are different.
Webtoon versions are different but they won't go adding romance where there isn't any. That would be changing the whole story, the author won't allow it.
