My god lord plz donate some brain cells caz the some people in the comment section be tripping like what? u couldn't get what u were signing up gor? It's a typical Korean novel adaptation n let me remind u its historical genre! In Korean culture they call their older partner hyung, oppa, unnie, noona so u get the gist. In this story none of the main characters r related by blood so I don't get where u r getting the "sick in the mind" thing. And another thing the people who r saying Rachel is dumb for thinking that Lucian is still gay like shut up! She read the story previously and Lucian was is love with Noah and becaz Noah saved him from his misery that's why so she's thinking like that. Nothing would ever click unless Lucian decides to say something about liking her. And like I said in the bl version of the story Noah was particularly different and helped Lucian that's why he(L) fell in love with him(N) not becaz of his gender or anything so he(L) wasn't gay but his dad was. If Rachel saved him(L) at that time to then he would have fallen for her! It has got nothing to do with gender! He just fell for the people he thought were right for him(L) at the time!

It has nothing to do with Korean culture. Growing up as step siblings then turned into lovers is gross. This is why people hate Bunny drop. The author could’ve kept the male lead gay but instead to switch it to the stereotypical dynamic. And that was one of the main issues and the second was switching the character sexuality. The saving the life part was just the catalyst, the author didn’t need to have Rachel turn into the love interest and could’ve kept her a sister.
