Its true, they send death threats to the author. The other part is the Fandom i think because the story got so much hate from both Cain and Yahwi stans, Cain stans demand he was to be made the ML while Yahwi stans are angry about jooij sleeping with Cain, both send out so much hate to the author, that the author themself decided to go on a hiatus, we dont particularly know the reason why they did so but i have one guess, they might have lost PASSION for writing the story plus the death threats they receive every single day. If i was that id be scared and quit the job, i dont want to be in that situation, the author must have felt so scared and depressed about it.

People sometimes are very scary, they will go out of their way to push other people out of boundaries just to prove they are right and the other person is wrong. I remember a year ago seeing posts on twt how they are sending death threats to the author, like bruh wtf is wrong with you why do you value a fiction more than a real person. Now too, people still try to fight each other that this fandom is more toxic than this or that this fandom is the worst than this, you have to remember that this is only fiction attacking other people just because you are upset is hella immature and embarrasing.
