Cirrus is totally stressed out but ... Maybe he is not too far gone. (I have read chapter 87 and he seems to have shifted to his social self so that's good and it seems realistic top.) Personnally I had a very bad time at home with my mother and i started having homicidal thoughts.... Because she used to assault me verbally and physically. So I was in a state of stress everyday and one day I snapped. And i grabbed her. But it didn't go too far. Because I have witnessed my own behaviour and thoughts. And that shook me. And I have identified the homicidal thoughts as a warning sign (but i never thought it would be a good idea to act on them though) but I mean this is scary enough and it made me want to take care of myself. Then my father had a good idea he asked me if I wanted to go to a university far away from home and i said yes. Then my mother didn't change her behaviour towards me but from that time on I could live in a different environment that was supportive to my growth as a human being. And i was also lucky to be surrounded by friendly housemates there, that were nice people treating me well. I am glad to say that I have never had any more homicidal thoughts in my life. (Yes I did go see a therapist but not at that time) And now I am able to stop my mother physically when she gets all loopy and crazy but always without harming her, because I do not feel threatened anymore and i do not get triggered anymore by her behaviour. (She is quite alright now but she can still be difficult but now our relationship recovered quite a bit and we both are more aware when things get out of hands we are more skilled and mindful and we have learned when to stop) I mean Cirrus' environment is a very bad influence and i feel he needs proper care and a healthy social environment as well as therapy. Maybe he can be ''adopted'' by the families of his friends and Skylar's family ? I think Skylar and Cirrus can still have a good relationship if they see each other ''under supervision'' aka living as a community and as family rather than dating or living ''together'' in the suffocating world of one room keeping heavy secrets from everyone that would be bad.

I believe that would be enough for Cirrus to undergo evaluation with a psychiatrist for reassurance. I think he is just desesperate because he believes he has no home and he is going to be homeless and live on the streets if he dares tell about the horror of his living situation to anyone. He is terrified and so he becomes like a wild animal he just snaps and his reptilian brain this time went on full fight mode. (Yeah I have read chapter 85 and 86)
It's a case of fight or flight (stress response) it's like a switch. and yes he needs to talk to a psychiatrist asap to discern between antisocial personnality, ptsd or chronic stress and the need for social worker intervention. He needs a positive environment to recover. I am relieved to see that in chapter 87 he is still able to smile and relax. Skylar is not a therapist and i hope Paskim is not going to try make us believe that love (or friendship) is a ''cure all'' _ but really Skylar is probably the best friend Cirrus needs and i believe in their friendship ! I really do. Chapter 87 is very very good. (Realistically good) And I truly think Cirrus past mischiefs with Skylar truly empowered Skylar rather than diminishing Skylar. (This is truly a miracle Skylar's growth is astounding)
