Right??!! I feel like some ppl are projecting their stuff onto this manga because it’s frigging adorable. The ml is obviously on the introverted side but he’s a good kid.
He didn’t string her along imo because he was upfront about why he didn’t want to pursue the tiny feelings he had started to develop towards her.
And the FL is cute nice and funny!! I love when the FL has personality and is not only nice or an airhead.

I was kinda nervous reading this bcs the comments kept saying she was gullible, she had no backbone, she was annoying, I was expecting more of a Tohru Honda type ( I personally find thaaaaatttt level of “kindness” unbearable/unrealistic) but to my surprise. She was just a little nice? Like she’s more than just nice she’s funny, and even though she is nice she fights back?
I’m starting to think the only people who find them annoying are the ones whose situationships didn’t work out…. Because they are so adorable and funnyyyy…
Like I love her so much and the pacing was a bit fast at first but they made it work!
Also some of you saying he’s an AHOLE for making her wait/ she’s annoying for “chasing” after him clearly don’t know what boundaries are or you didn’t read properly….
She’s respecting his decision because he’s iffy about love after watching his parents. They’re still kids and he wasn’t forcing her to stay liking him she decided that on her own. If he liked someone else I would kind of understand where y’all were coming from but still…she’s so considerate and he sees that. I love this so much
