To the people pointing out the shallowness of the lil bro's character, you're right on the mark, cuz in the fanfiction world, mc paired with lil bro's boyfriend is a popular ship lmao and it's actually working out cuz there is a solid foundation in canon for that route. MC def lowered down his guard when he thought those two being in a relationship deters a flag. I guess he didn't read those messy af bl's with cheating lol
