Unorganized thoughts on chapters 40-42

- Theo gets more handsome with each new update—you love to see it. I’m (still) giddy over the fact that his relationship with Umihiko has become so…wholesome? He’s clearly infatuated with this man, and I’m all for that.

- The Doctor…is very pretty. Love her design, mwah. Momo, meanwhile, is…intriguing. I feel like she’s more cunning than she lets on. Perhaps she knows something about their family — and, with that, how it may relate to her and Unehoko’s apparent affinity to serve as blessed maidens — or perhaps her actions are reflective of, well, being his sister. She probably knows how, frankly, he’s almost too kind to everyone he meets. Even under Theo’s he’s bound to get himself into more trouble. All of this is just speculation over something that’ll be answered soon enough, and either way, I’m pretty interested in what direction Momo’s character will go next.

- And the plot! I’m *very* interested at the thought of going into Umehiko’s mind — I’m a sucker for these kinds of plots — but since this all feels like the start of a new arc, I haven’t yet got a clue what to expect.

I think this’ll be a fun arc.
