It’s so messed up XD I read this because one of the reviews referred to him as the ml when I was skimming, but then suddenly more guys were introduced so I was confused and then the comments revealed the parts I missed in the review that said Issac was the ml!

Doesn’t help that I find Issac annoying as fck lol

Like, I don’t like that type of overly pushy type. Like the type that uses their surroundings to put the mc in a hard spot and have to accept whatever they say. (Like Richard isnt pushy but just possessive so far(cause of his abandonment issues lol))

Als the whole master and pet thing is so forced I’m sorry like what XD I can’t take it seriously and there’s no way I’m gonna be able 59 take their romance seriously lol. I’ll just read till mc reunites with her dad and probably for it, unless Richard somehow miraculously becomes the ml lol

(I usually like the master and servant trope but it’s just too forced and awkward here, and the mc has more connection with Richard, since they’ve both had similar experiences of being outcasts)

LEGIT THAT'S WHAT LED ME ON. First reviews claimed richard was the ML. Thought he was unique cus as you said, first purple haired ML so i stuck around and waited. Ended up getting attatched now i got fucked after finding spoilers on a goddamn YT short. Panicked and searched for the spoiler thread of the novel and came out dead.

This was also me when i found out Who Made me a Princess Manwha ended with no fucking ML. That made me so pissed off cus the novel readers promissed Lucas would be the ML only for Spoon to once again fuck up the story.

I was also mad they changed some plot stuff with Jeannette since I hated her but I think Spoon just like Jeanette and Ijekiel probably lol. Honestly, I didn’t like either of those two and they annoyed there heck out of me, and I literally only stayed for mc, her dad, and Lucas(and the side characters around them)

Honestly, I feel like wmmap was very big cause it was one of the first manhwa adaptations and it also had really good art. If it came out now, it would be branded as another childcare reincarnation manhwa but with good art basically XD

But it does have a special place in my heart since it opened up more manhwas for me I guess lol. Still peeved about the Lucas thing, but now it’ll get me to read the novel I guess lol

Im sorta hype for the dongua(anime) coming out for it but im kinda meh cus it's made by tencent. I don't trust those guys.

Honestly, i read the reviews to get a good feel of the story. Like if the summary is to my taste, imma read it. Sometimes if there's not enough chapters, i'd even look for novel spoilers if the story seemed spicy enough to make me curious for more. Idec if the reviews are low cus they can get misleading too or just simply hate the genre so i'd try first(only to find out later some reviews are right...)

Oh also reviews are one way to avoid red flag stories. Like. Super red flag, i don't wanna invest my time and emotions to those.

They had to change the webtoon from the novel due to some scandal (i dont really remember) where they said the author took some of the points in the ending from some other webnovel (thats the basic gist). But, in my mind, that ending still stands.

I think i know which novel you're talking about?? I havem't read it yet so i can't even compare.
