Jaerim is nit confident at all that's why he is saying something so childish. The way I see it: he is not a tsundere and he is not playing hard to get, he is just extremelly inexperienced and insecure. People who are naive and innocent and don't have sexual experience sometimes act like that, like rejecting advances and indecisive because they are nervous or afraid or don't know how to behave. And yes, being too inocent and indecisive can be annoying ...But I think he is not aware of his hot and cold behaviour and he doesn't understand Dunno's intentions... Also, Yuri used ro treat him bad at the beginning and called him ugly all the time... I think that's why he can't fully believe or understand why Yuri would like him

Finally someone with common sense!! Not to mention the fact that that Jaerim isn't trying to lead Yuri on, while he though he didn't like Yuri, he tried to hook him up with former prez, so Yuri could be happy. Not to mention the fact that he tried to be by Yuri's side with the hole picture thing.
This is a guy who has been bullied by girls AND guys for being ugly. Whose not even considered for jobs for being ugly. Who at first was arrogantly talked down to by Yuri. Who has never had a girlfriend and has always been straight.
I imagine it's really shocking and world-shaking and difficult to adjust to being in love with a guy and that guy is the school Prince--gorgeous and smart and competent.
