thank you!! i’m so annoyed by her father. like he’d have to be blind to think that his wife cares about camellia and hasn’t been trying to sabotage her this whole time. also, camellia owes them nothing. they STOLE her from her mother and refused to let her contact her for years without so much as a goodbye. she’s been forced to live her entire life as a man instead of a woman to be a replacement “just in case” anything happened to her brother and to keep up appearances. she owes these people nothing, least of all any gratitude. ugh they make me so mad.
How fucking stupid is the marquise? For real, is he supposed to be a noble/politician/leader? Does he for real GENUINELY think his wife cares about Camilia? And Kieran should've came forward with this information the moment his mom started using it to threaten Camilia to "take responsibility for her mom's actions". I'm starting to hate every character in this story.
