Please read the latest spoiler. I didn't read the side stories and rize did get a bad ending. I only read until the end of the main story.

mind giving me the latest spoiler ヾ(☆▽☆) got me excited now

It was complete mtl so couldn't exactly understand some things. So before marrying cliff, rize made him sign a contract stating that cliff couldn't divorce rize and he would always protect her. Rize wanted extravagant things, spent shit ton of money on her wedding. It was to the point that even cliff looked tired on his wedding day and Duchess stopped spending time with her. Rize wasn't satisfied with her life even after marriage and wanted to be the main character again. She wanted attention from men, that 'main character feeling of being loved by every single character', so she would spend lots of money to hold parties and dance with other men. Cliff and rize started to have frequent fights. She even met with the crown prince without the knowledge of the ludwigs which made the emperor suspicious of the ludwigs (like are they plotting to kill the emperor by directly meeting with the prince). So Duke was called and scolded by the emperor and he scolded rize after returning to the mansion. Even though the original flow of the story wouldn't exactly follow the pre-designed trajectory anymore, rize foolishly still believed she could change her luck by following the events that happened in the og story after rize's marriage to cliff. So there was a special episode in the og story where rize accidently ended up in a slave auction and ended up finding the emperor's long lost nephew there and was rewarded generously by the emperor. So rize thought she could become the main character again just by going to the auction and finding the lost nephew. But THE STORY WAS NOT THE SAME ANYMORE. SHE DIDN'T FIND THE NEWPHEW THERE. so bitch bought some random kid from the auction, taught him aristocratic manners and drew a butterfly mole above his collarbone which the real nephew was supposed to have. Nephew was kidnapped 5 years ago and the story was kept a secret so nobody would try to take advantage of the situation. Long story short, emperor met the nephew that rize brought to the palace but the mother of the nephew realised the mole was on the wrong side and that's how the ludwigs were accused of tricking the royal family. Founding day was approaching and edith and killiak came down to the capital, the real nephew almost got hit by their carriage, Edith took him with her to run errands for them since the kid looked like a beggar. Eventually nephew's mother saw the kid with Edith and realised it was her real son. Now lize was going to be executed. For finding the real nephew, emperor asked edith what reward she wanted. SHE FUCKING ASKED THE EMEPROR TO SPARE RIZE'S LIFE. Emperor agreed but since the crime was huge, rize's marriage to cliff was annuled, she was stripped of her title and banished to a monastery. For like 2 years, cliff was listless. But Cliff thanked edith and also apologised to Edith for hurting her before. Killian and Edith convinced him to live for himself and maybe remarry. Cliff thought it was his pampering that made rize like that so to pay for that sin, he thought he didn't deserve to be happy. But killian and edith helped him and eventually he married a viscount's daughter who really loved cliff and cliff really loved her too.
