Yeah I was super let down that it went the usual „The knight is head over heels for their master“the first few Chapters it looked like a beautiful bond build on respect but as always Autors throw that out for a useless Love Corner(at least in the Manga). I like Erez way more. I hope she‘ll end with him. I‘m weak for carefree cuties like him. (My Fav is Zeke tho like I just wanna Hug that cutie ah.)
From my understanding, Joseph wasn't even supposed to have such a major role in the novel, sure he was protective as any knight would be for their master but the artist really emphasized his implicit actions of loyalty and now there alot of let down ppl. Though I'm not sure if the author had a major input in this decision as well but I did see somewhere that Erez was the only "love interest". I'm quite happy that i felt an affinity towards Erez. Hehe
(This is not me bashing or anything of the sort, I'm just speaking my thoughts well more like typing them out lol )
